What is the BattleCrown™ ?

The BattleCrown™ is an extremely heavy duty barrel bushing with a thick flange that precisely follows the outside contour of the slide, with an angled bottom, for a very distinctive and clean look. 

The front opening of the BattleCrown™has a large and extra deep flare which can be left as-is or blended to a countersunk, crowned barrel for a visually impressive look. 

Functionally, the oversized flange protects the muzzle crown to an unprecedented level while the front is nicely beveled without any sharp edges, for easy holster insertion.

The BattleCrown™ is shipped in-the-white, so the finish can be applied after fitting it to the barrel and slide 

Available in Government or Commander size, with a choice of carbon or stainless steel.

    Loose fit on a Springfield A-1 Loaded 1911. Kept it anyway and will try it on a different slide at some point. Definetly not oversize in OD or ID. Quality is very obvious. Excellent finish and profiles nicely with outside of frame. Disappointed it had no drag on barrel or inside of slide. Fit like most GI issued 1911's.

    I was a little hesitate to order a $85 muzzle crown. But after I had it fitted and installed I have no regrets. High quality product. Gives a very clean look to your existing 1911.

    As expected the quality is typical for Guncrafter. Fit and finish superb. A beautiful addition to my Colt Government.
    Ordering more in the near future for my 1911 friends. Perfect!

    I have wanted a Guncrafter 1911 since I first saw one. But I can only afford to upgrade my Kimber. at this point. Not a drop-in part, but with a few mods I'm getting close.
