Model 3 .50 GI™

The Model 1 proved a half-inch bullet could run in a Government-size 1911. The Model 3 makes the .50 GI™ a pistol you can carry every day.

The 4.25″ Commander-length slide rides higher in the holster, clears leather faster and sits closer to the body. The full-size frame keeps a full grip and a full magazine of .50 GI.

The .50 GI fires the largest-diameter bullet you can put in a 1911. Because it runs at moderate pressure, felt recoil is closer to a .45 ACP than its size suggests. The heavy match-grade barrel and forged steel keep the Model 3 tracking back on target, shot after shot.

For the smallest profile, we added a bobtail frame and flush-fit magazines. The bobtail rounds off the rear corner of the grip, the part most likely to print, and flush-fit magazines keep the bottom of the grip clean. 

Shredder grips and 20 LPI frame checkering lock the pistol into your hand. A beveled magazine well speeds reloads, and GI tritium sights work in low light. The frame and slide are forged steel. The hammer, sear and disconnector are fully machined from tool steel, and the slide stop is cut from bar stock. Every Model 3 is fully dehorned, gets our extreme reliability work and is finished in black Nitride to stand up to daily carry. It's built by hand, and it's built to be carried.
